It’s not easy… Telling the truth to those who are blinded

It’s not easy… Being bold

It’s not easy…being stern

It’s not easy…growing old

With age comes experience which means more endurance which means tenacity resilience being relentless determined hard-working and labor in all efforts…

No… It’s not easy growing old… With age comes wisdom that is a reward and the bright side

It’s not easy… Constantly claiming your boundaries of respect

It’s not easy… To reiterate your boundaries of respect when you’ve been disrespected

I thought it would be easy for some to see my value and worth and uphold the appreciation in my value and worth as I age like a fine wine

But by great design the agenda was for me to wither away and yet perplexed they are as I remain and stay

Now with understanding growing older with wisdom through experience life’s endurance is the journey that tells my story

I now understand the why and how and when because you know what I have seen the light that’s always shining so bright

As I gaze into the mirror I see the reflection…the confirmation…the witness that testifies to what was unforeseen

Before that I was not privy to and yet it surrounded me and was within me all this time

So I no longer have to question “Why?”

For the mysteries are revealed before my eyes and now my position and my perception has changed for the better

I can now stand on the foundation of greatness the foundation built by the Existing Power Himself that I will not slip or be carried away by the wind or waves
