Outcomes unfolding whether seen or true

Experiences replaying in the mind

A prisoner of pain ~ no relief…no unwind

A yearned desire to live a life of peace

No rest, no understanding..nothing at ease

A battle of the mind ~ a captive of war

Casualities victimized ~ a system rigged for sure

Bootstraps you put on that don’t seem to fit

Enduring a race not meant for you ~ NO…not one bit

Penalities are prizes…BUT..what did you do?

So sick of biased uncertainties…a perpetual flu.

No empathy, no compassion…none to relate

Menu’s unappealing…resistance on your plate.

Laziness?…hmmm…

It’s a fallacy…TRUTH is revealed

The more you know

The more you grow

The more you sow

The remembrance of ‘glory days’…hearts are healed

Not unproductive…hmmm…

Lack of passion?…Maybe.
