The greatest gift I’ve ever received is the gift to know what LOVE looks like.

To know the LOVE of my husband.

To know the LOVE of my child.

To know the LOVE of my mother after years of enduring rejection & turmoil from brokeness.

To know the absence of LOVE of those who were never for me.

To know the absence of LOVE of my bestie that portrayed as an angel of light for a lifetime.

See, I now know what LOVE looks like because Yah is LOVE.

Sometimes LOVE hurts because LOVE is a Truth teller, it reveals and doesn’t hide.

It seals and confides.

It’s loyal and has my back, front and sides.

LOVE is not afraid to hold me when my attitude is not the best.

LOVE is not afraid to show me the mirror of who I am in the moment…who I am in the season.

LOVE doesn’t reject nor subject me to the negative.

On the contrary, LOVE is a rod and staff to chasten and support…

Building me up never letting me down.

And this is the single gift that is greatest…

To LOVE.

To be LOVED.

To KNOW LOVE.

I have received and learned from the best.

YAH IS LOVE.
