What does it mean to be a good person?
What do you suppose would be the measure to determine who is good?
Surely, there are variations of standards that many will stand upon according to their own understanding. Yet, the outcome of the world is the evidence of fallen natures. Innocence blindsided by the bulldozing of survival tactics that one could say are unreasonable.
I chose to look to “The One Who is Higher” than I. The One Whose Thoughts and Ways surpass my own understanding. The One Whose established measure is holy and also a standard above all that He has created.
I’m not here to convince…I’m only here to share my witness account of a testimony that is eternal.
The people speak of their determination of what it means to be a “good”person…
And this is The Word that anchors my determination:
Luke 6:45 NKJV
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
